About KidMedia
Kidmedia is an educational software team for teachers, therapists and parents of preschool and school-age children (3-12 years), with special emphasis on special education and specific learning needs. It was created in 2005 by special education teachers Pagkratis Pavlidis and Christos Bitsis, with the goal of providing interactive learning tools used:
In the classroom by teachers
In therapeutic programs by speech and occupational therapists
In facilities such as after-school centers, nurseries and kindergartens
At home by parents, always under adult guidance and supervision
Our programs are designed for use by education/therapy professionals and parents. They are not intended for independent use by children without adult presence.
Since then, we maintain a stable collaboration with Mr. Pantelis Makris and his company Sesat Ltd in Cyprus. This website and kidmedia.net operate under the fiscal hosting of Sesat Ltd, which has undertaken the publication and distribution of the Kidmedia creative team's work through all available means (including: digital and print editions, public, private and European projects, funding, donations, etc.). The creators retain the intellectual property of their work and offer exclusively access and usage rights to website visitors according to their individual agreements with Sesat Ltd.
Our Products
Our team created educational software packages for Windows widely used by education professionals: "Ensfinomata 1", "Ensfinomata 2", "Ensfinomata 3", "Magic Paintbrush", "Cycling with Taxakis", "Play with Words", "Kidmedia Prints" and the game "TETRAS".
"Ensfinomata 1" has been translated into English, Romanian and Russian, "Ensfinomata 2" into English, German, Spanish and Arabic, and "Cycling with Taxakis" into English, Romanian, Russian and Slovenian. "Ensfinomata 1" and "Cycling with Taxakis" were selected by the Ministry of Education of Moldova in 2020 and licenses were purchased for all schools in the country.
All ideas, programming, graphics, music and videos are exclusively created by team members. All material has been tested by educators and therapists in practice before publication, so we are confident it is fully functional and effective in the educational process.
Online Applications for Modern Needs
With the spread of tablets and smartphones, the team created online educational applications and games for use by professionals and parents on any operating system and device. The result is this subscription platform for educators, therapists and parents, continuously enriched with new creations.
